Happiness is an Inside Job

The 'pursuit of happiness' concept feeds the idea that happiness is something we can find outside of ourselves – if we search hard enough. But you know what? I believe that happiness starts within. You won't find it chasing relationships, money, or other external sources. You are the engine of your own happiness.

Self-care wasn’t a practice I incorporated into my life until my late twenties, and even then, it became a necessity versus a choice. As someone who can be very affected by stress and the environments I’m in, I reached a point where I needed to address my anxiety and the way I was feeling in my life. Sadly, this is how most of us are introduced to self-care and wellness.

As we enter the month of all things Valentine’s and love-related, it can bring with it some pretty big feelings around how we feel about ourselves. Whether we are in a partnership or not, I believe this is a month where each of us reflects on our capacity to feel love, joy, and contentment in our lives. I am a firm believer it is impossible to offer and receive a healthy kind of love from another if it doesn’t exist within yourself first. Part of my passion is to educate women about the emotional and mental benefits of using oils to support themselves in all aspects of their lives.

Your happiness is an inside job, and no amount of outer validation or support can replace the ways you help support yourself.

WORKSHOP

ESSENTIAL OIL BASICS

As we continue to look ahead at 2022 and forge a new path, I invite you to invest in learning more by joining my Essential Oils Basics workshop. On March 22, this workshop walks you through the main properties and qualities of each oil to use in your home for wellness, healing, and aromatherapy. There are so many ways to use essential oils that a good, foundational knowledge of their properties is an ideal way to become an expert at how and when to use them.

ESSENTIAL OIL SPOTLIGHT

20% OFF YLANG YLANG

This month, I’m happy to offer you 20% off Ylang Ylang from February 1st right up until Valentine’s Day. This distinct and unique oil is revered for several reasons that make it truly stand out. When used in a medicinal sense, it can kill bacterial infection and lower one’s blood pressure which is why it is often used to promote relaxation. The effects the smell has near the head are also used to increase memory and thinking skills. One of the extra perks of this oil is its ability to increase one’s libido by relaxing the nervous system and increasing one’s overall sense of pleasure. Just the right effect to make your Valentine’s Day extra special.

For now, I’ll leave you with this quote, and wish you a beautiful and relaxing February.

“To fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness.”

With love & gratitude,

Marie-Pier
